How can the national budget improve the living conditions of people?

The budget is the main tool of management of a government, which evidences how the country defines priorities and allots its resources. Prioritizing resources toward the attention to programs to fight poverty, educational coverage, access to drinking water, primary attention to health and reduction of malnutrition (mother – child) has high impact on the improvement of the living standard of the population.

Several studies show that by increasing the Public Social Expenditure, a substantial improvement of the living and well-being conditions of people can be expected and, consequently, the creation of a situation that favors the growth and development of the country.
